SMS Terms and Conditions

OK RIDE CARE (“RIDECARE Inc.”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an optional SMS notification service to keep you informed about appointment-related and service-related updates. These messages are strictly transactional and are sent only to users who explicitly opt in.

By enrolling in our SMS program, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Program Description

 

The OK RIDE CARE SMS program sends transactional, service-related text messages only. These messages may include:

​

  • Appointment reminders

  • Pick-up notifications

  • Meeting confirmations

  • Time-sensitive updates related to your request

  • Status changes relevant to your individual service

 

No marketing, promotional, or advertising messages will ever be sent.
We will never use your phone number for any purpose other than sending you transactional notifications directly related to your service with us.

2. Opt-In Requirements

Participation in the SMS program is completely voluntary and not required to use our services.

You may opt in by checking the SMS consent box when submitting a transportation request through our platform.

By opting in, you confirm that:

​

  • You are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number provided

  • You consent to receive SMS notifications that relate directly to your service activity

  • Messages will only be sent to you when relevant to your individual account or request

​

We do not send broadcast messages, group notifications, or content unrelated to your personal service.

3. Opt-Out Instructions

​

You may cancel the SMS service at any time.

​

To stop receiving text messages:

  • Reply “STOP” to any message we send.

  • After texting “STOP,” you will receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.

You will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you choose to opt in again.

Re-enrolling in SMS

​

To re-join the program after opting out, you must complete the opt-in process again on our transportation request form or other approved opt-in method.

​

Message frequency varies based on your activity and the number of service requests you make. Generally, you may receive:

  • 1–2 messages per week per active client or request, or

  • Routine service notifications only when necessary

Message and data rates may apply for any SMS message sent to you or from you.
If you have questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.

7. Privacy, Data Handling & Third-Party Policy

 

Your privacy is critically important to us.
 

  • Your phone number will be used solely for delivering SMS notifications directly related to your individual service activity.

  • Your number and associated information will never be shared, sold, rented, or distributed to third parties for marketing, advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.

  • Messages will contain only user-specific, relevant information applicable to your service requests.

  • We do not use your information to send unsolicited messages.

8. Carrier & Reliability Disclaimer

 

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed, undelivered, or corrupted messages.

  • Device settings

  • Network congestion

  • Technical limitations beyond our control

9. Changes to These Terms

 

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date above. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
